We want to see in the world.
The chance to leave something
Better for our children.
One never expects to live
Through history-making days.
But, we are.
Each and every single person on
This rotating earth shares one common goal.
To make it through the storm.
So we can be
American
Hindu
Asian
Chinese
Canadian
Mexican
African
Woman
Or man.
Or we can just be
Human.
We can keep doing what we always do,
Or we can choose to be more
Than the land on which we stand.
We can choose to spread love,
Kindness and the ability to understand.
Or we can continue to choose
Anger, mistrust, and demand.
